This morning I harvested nearly 1kg of beans, see the attached photo. The autumn season has already come. Since 1+ weeks ago, the night temperature has been quite low for my bean plants, making a lot of leaves drop down and the bean fruits becoming very hard to grow. The autumn season isn't for bean planting and I can only harvest about 1kg of beans this morning since the last time in about 2 weeks ago. The dramatically dropped down bean production in my backyard shows the season does affect the bean planting. However, the tomato plants are starting to supply me with the tomato fruits, even though the quantity is less than I expected. I think one reason might be due to the fact that I start to plant tomatoes too late during the planting season. On 13/03, I harvested 1.5kgs tomatoes and on 18/03, I harvested another 1.5kgs tomatoes, see the attached photos. At this vegi planting season, the overall result of bean planting is a lot better than I expect, which is good, but the result of tomatoes planting isn't as good as I expect. The effort made and time spent to plant beans and tomatoes in my garden this season are both a lot less than that in the previous year's planting season, I do make good progress in different areas on vegi planting in my garden. I hope at the next vegi planting season, the vegi planting results for both variety of vegi would become better, and make good progress in other different areas as well)

(update at 28/02 - At 21/02 I harvested 5+ kgs beans, about 90% from the backyard vegi planting raised beds. One week later today 28/02, I harvested 2.5+ kgs beans, almost all from the backyard vegi planting raised beds. See the attached photos. I harvested more beans than I should at 21/02 one week ago, and today the beans I harvested is about half of the quantity I harvested one week ago. Excluding giving some beans to my father, it took me about one week to consume the beans being harvested at 21/02, so today I need to harvest the beans again. I expect I'm still able to regularly harvest some more beans from now on, even though the quantity becomes less and less at each time. Would like to see how it will go and how it will end up)

(update at 20/02 - At the morning of 15/02, I harvested about 4 kgs of beans from the backyard vegi planting raised beds. and just a little bit of beans from the front yard, see the attached photo taken from the backyard after harvesting the beans there. This morning I took a video around the outside of my property and the vegi garden, and already uploaded it to my website traceboard.co.nz.... The video shows that at the backyard vegi planting raised beds there are still some bean fruits, matured ones and the still growing ones, on the bean plants, but less than that being showed in the video taken before. At the moment, even though the production of beans has been declined slowly, gradually, but still can harvest a couple of kgs every few days. Due to the shade and image clarity, the video can't show the actual quantity status of the bean fruits on the plants. This video also shows the growing status of the tomato plants inside another vegi planting raised bed, and it is close to the beans planting raised beds. There are a lot of tomato fruits already and there will be more and more later, but the tomato fruits aren't big enough and not matured yet, as I planted the tomato plants after the mid summer, just too late. These are the tomatoes for the autumn, not for the summer. Just inform the interested public of the vegi planting status of the vegetables in my garden. Let me emphasize again, I'm not going to sell my property. Please don't misunderstand my purpose of this email. Please don't over-thinking. My purpose is to "show off" my achievement, and you can understand it this way if you'd like. I'm not a "generous" person also, well I'm a business person from the IT/Telco, High Tech background, so I'm not going to share my vegetables with other people who're not going to pay a price for my effort. Thank you very much for your time to read my email. Those people who're negative about me, who have been spreading rumors to defame me and my property, you're not welcome to read my email, this email isn't for you. This email is only for those nice people with good character. Thank you very much for your understanding)

(update at 12/02 - I harvested nearly 3kgs beans from my bean plants on 07/02, about 5kgs beans on 11/02, see the attached photos at the end.

Yesterday after I harvested 5kgs beans, I emailed my customer who purchased 3kgs beans from me before Xmas 2024, asking whether he wanted more beans or not. From his reply, he doesn't seem wanting more beans on this season. It seems this customer only purchase so much beans for their Xmas celebration function/event, so I invite him to contact with me again before 2025 Xmas for the beans.

Since mid Dec 2024, I could have been harvesting a couple of kgs beans every a couple of days until now, and it is still going to be very similar like that for some more time, with a certain degree slow decline of production as time goes by (in the past, before & after harvesting the beans, I often took photos or videos showing the beans on the plants, but after doing a massive harvesting at the early Jan 2025, particularly after harvesting many kgs of the "yellow beans" as the bean seeds for the ongoing planting seasons, I stopped to take photos, video on the bean plants, as the photo, video images aren't clear enough to show the actual status of the bean fruits on the plants, due to the shade, sunlight brightness etc). Apart from giving some of the beans to my family member, I cooked a lot of beans as food, made a lot of pickles, and harvested many kgs of "yellow beans" as the bean seeds for the future planting seasons. I still have some large empty food containers for storing the pickles made from the fresh beans I harvested.

Actually I prefer to consuming the beans just by myself and my family member, and this is exactly what I have been doing so far, plus sharing some of them with my future flatmates when they move in, unless there are people/customer from www.neighbourly.co.nz... or www.trademe.co.nz... wanting to purchase some from me)

(update at 04/02/2025 - I harvested about 3 kgs beans on 28/01, about 6 kgs beans on 03/02, see the attached photos. The majority of the beans were harvested from the backyard vegi planting raised beds. In the last couple of days, I peeled the shells of all the "yellow beans" mentioned in the email below, and got a few thousands bean seeds, and the majority of them are for the green bean variety, see the other attached photos. Such amounts of the seeds can be used as the bean planting seeds for the ongoing planting seasons for years. If anyone interested in having some, the price is $5 for 50 seeds, plus shipping cost)

(update at 25/01/2025 - Two days ago, I harvested a lot "yellow beans" - the uneatable, very dry bean fruits as the bean seeds, see the attached photos. These over-matured bean fruits being left on the bean plants for very long period were harvested as the bean seeds for the ongoing planting seasons for the next few years. As stated in my email below, some of the bean fruits I harvested recently being made as a lot of pickles, see some other attached photos taken this morning, showing the bean pickles being stored in my fridge inside 4 large food plastic boxes)

(update at 19/01/2025 - This year 2025, I have harvested the bean fruits from my vegi garden for 3 times so far - 10kgs at 12/01/2025, 3kgs at 15/01 and 1.5kgs at 18/01, see the attached photos. I gave some of them to my father, cooked some of them, and made a lot of pickles with the majority of the beans. At the early morning of 12/01/2025, I took a video around my garden, including the vegi planting area and uploaded it to my website www.traceboard.co.nz...)

(update at 25/12 - One of my customers came here to buy nearly 3 kgs beans on the afternoon of 23rd Dec, and paid me more than he should, as he was quite happy with what he got. On the morning of 24th Dec, I myself harvested about 8 kgs of beans (I washed and cooked them all with the steam boat method, and this is the good way to consume the beans quickly), and then took a video and a lot of photos afterwards. However, from the video and photos, the amount of the remaining beans on the plants still looked very similar to what it was before my customer came to pay and buy on the afternoon of 23rd Dec. Why? As the beans on the plants were just too much, when the customer came on 23rd Dec, I only harvested the beans at the middle and upper positions of the plants, but the amount was just a little bit 3 kgs. When I harvested about 8 kgs at the morning of 24th Dec, I only harvested the beans at the bottom position of the plants, and a lot of the beans touched the soil. However the video and photos I took were only towards the middle and upper positions of the plants, not towards the bottom position, as the visual result of the video and photos wasn't good for the bottom position of the bean plants. All in all, after harvesting nearly 11 kgs of beans in these two days, the amount of the beans on the plants still looks very similar to what it was before the harvesting. Attached the video and a lot of the photos here taken after I harvested the beans at the morning of 24th Dec. Have a great & safe Xmas & New Year !)

(update at 23/12 before 2024 Xmas Eve - this early morning I took a video around my garden again and uploaded it to the TRACEBoard NZ website for an update. When I walked around my garden, a few IP security cameras I installed at the outside were triggered and made loud alarms. They have been working very well, no matter how bad the weather condition is, well looking after and protecting my property area from intrusion of the neighbours around my property and the other people conspiring with them)

Home garden grown fresh vegetables beans $15/kg (negotiable).

(as shown in the photos, harvested many kgs at early Dec and made a lot pickles being stored inside the fridge)

Available for a couple of kgs everyday. Anyone interested with some, please contact and book with me beforehand, so I can harvest and get it ready just before your arrival.

A video uploaded to www.traceboard.co.nz..., showing the status of the growing vegetables.
