Latest update on Pakuranga Rd Intersection

Hira Siddiqui from Citizens Advice Bureau Pakuranga/Eastern Manukau

‼️ Latest update from Auckland Transport ‼️
An update on the new Pakuranga Rd intersection - AT and the Eastern Busway team are taking a number of actions to sort out those afternoon traffic delays on Pakuranga Rd heading east.

We want to reassure everyone that the team is investigating a design solution to improve the efficiency of the intersection.

Other actions are also underway:
📌 Adjusting traffic lights to optimise vehicle flow and monitoring traffic.
📌 Putting construction work at the intersection on hold - only essential activities are being completed like installing permanent signage.
📌 Assessing the potential removal of a Pakuranga Road pedestrian crossing between the intersections of Brampton Court and Tī Rākau Drive.
📌 Getting feedback from MP Simeon Brown, councillors and the local board.

We'll keep you updated - thank you for your patience.

But there is a silver lining: buyers are still in a strong position when it comes to negotiating prices.

So we’re curious…
How are you feeling about the current property market?

If you’re keen to dive into the details, Deborah Morris breaks down all the latest insights.
