Need to renew your driver's licence?
๐๐๐๐จYou will need to renew your driver licence when you turn 75, 80, and every two years after that.
NZ Transport Agency Waka Kotahi will send you a driver licence renewal pack about eight weeks before your licence is due to expire.
You can also apply up to 6 months before you turn 75 by downloading the form yourself or requesting one from a driver licencing agent near you:
As part of the renewal, you will need to:
๐๐ปget a medical check by your doctor showing that you are medically fit to drive and
๐๐ป you may also have to do an on-road safety test (this depends on what your medical check results are).
Once your medical check certificate states that you are fit to drive, and you have done an on-road test if required, you can complete the application form and visit a driver licensing agent to apply in person. When you apply, your medical check results must not be older than 60 days.

NZCCM Massage and English Programmes
The New Zealand College of Chinese Medicine (NZCCM) offers industry-focused Massage and English programmes that prepare students for professional practice.
Students gain strong Anatomy and Physiology knowledge, hands-on experience in the student clinic, and pathways into health and wellbeing careers. NZCCM actively incorporates tikanga Mฤori and Te Ao Mฤori, partnering with local marae for cultural learning and community treatments.
As Aucklandโs only provider of Massage diplomas, NZCCM is enrolling now for February 2026 Programmes include the Level 5 Wellness and Relaxation Massage Diploma and the Level 6 Remedial Massage Diploma, both NZQA-approved with intensive block courses. NZCCM also offers NZCEL Level 4 for academic English preparation.

Night-time roadworks on SH16
From 23 November to 17 December, stop/go traffic management will be in several locations on SH16 between Mabbett Lane and Restall Road (Sundays to Thursdays, 9pm to 5am).
