Only 31 per cent of people in New Zealand's biggest city have voted in the Local Body Elections, with polls set to close at midday.
As of Saturday morning, Auckland voter turnout was sitting at 31.48 per cent, which is 3.7 per cent lower than in 2016 and 1.7 per cent below 2013, which had the lowest ever turnout for an Auckland Council election.
Usually the last day of voting will add between two and three per cent, meaning this years election could fall short of the 2013 low of 35.2 per cent.

I found these two rings on the road next to Manukau bus interchange. If you can give me the inscription on the one ring they can be returned. If anybody can share this on other community groups would be appreciated.

Hi all, I have another ginger cat hanging around our property. He sneaks into the house on a night and eats my cats food. He also appears to be sleeping in our living room. We want to catch him and check him for a microchip as I did with the last cat or at the least paper collar him before that but if anybody recognizes this cat we are based on Struan Place, Highland Park
