MEGANZ School of Visual Arts wishes you all a Happy Summer Holiday

Megan from MEGANZ School of Visual Arts

We have come to the end of our year of having some serious fun creating, exploring, and learning heaps of new artistic processes.
I am very proud of all our students. They have worked hard, produced some amazing artwork, and learned a few art tricks along the way.

We will be opening again from 29th January for our eight-week 'Art Development Courses' for students aged between tweens, teens, and adults. We have afternoon, evening, and Saturday class times available. Best to check out our website for details, www.vizart.co.nz... and from there, go onto our school Instagram page to see what our students have created over this past year.
We always like to arrange for a 20-minute meet-and-greet appointment before students begin. So between now and when we start give Megan a call or a text to make a time to meet.
Look forward to hearing from you for some creative artistic fun for 2024

Some Choice News!

Kia pai from Sharing the Good Stuff

Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.

Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.

Thinking about planting something to invite more butterflies, bees, and birds into your garden?

Thanks for your mahi, Alan! We hope this brings a smile!
