Musocoal - Draw a musician as you listen.

Megan from MEGANZ School of Visual Arts

For the artists out there,
We will be running another Life-Drawing Workshop with a difference.
Our 'Musocoal' - Draw a musician as you listen is here again.
'Musocoal' stands for music and charcoal together.
It will be on the 31st of July, 2.30 - 4.30 pm at Nixon Park Community Hall. 70 Sale Street, Howick. Auckland. (Next to the Howick Bowling club)
Bring along your charcoal sticks, pencils, pens, paper, etc, and join in the challenge of drawing our featured musician as you listen to them play/sing. For any level of ability. Just give it a go! It doesn't matter how the drawings turn out, it is an exercise in learning to look.
Only $20.00 waged or $15.00 unwaged.
A maximum of 25 people, so get in quick.

Some Choice News!

Kia pai from Sharing the Good Stuff

Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.

Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.

Thinking about planting something to invite more butterflies, bees, and birds into your garden?

Thanks for your mahi, Alan! We hope this brings a smile!
