Come and join our Term 4 Art Courses

Megan from MEGANZ School of Visual Arts

It's great to see our students are all working on individual projects this term. Some are sculpting, others are drawing and painting and a few have decided to design Xmas cards and wrapping paper by trying their hand at Lino-cuts. We have just finished a term at painting faces in monochrome values. There were some great results from this.
If you want to come along and explore your creative side, you and/or your child (over 8 years old) are welcome to begin anytime throughout the term.
Check out our website above for details or phone or text Megan

Some Choice News!

Kia pai from Sharing the Good Stuff

Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.

Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.

Thinking about planting something to invite more butterflies, bees, and birds into your garden?

Thanks for your mahi, Alan! We hope this brings a smile!
