Term 1 Art Courses begining from 7th Februrary

Megan from MEGANZ School of Visual Arts

Happy New Year everyone,
I hope this coming year is kind to you all and you have some great new projects in mind to get your teeth into.

MEGANZ School of Arts has an exciting first term planned ahead for our creative students, which runs for eight weeks from Tuesday 7th February. I'm also keen to announce I have my daughter Greta Umbers coming on board to teach my Tuesday class.
We mainly focus on drawing, painting & sculpture throughout the year. We work on a mix of tutor and student-initiated projects. We accept students from the age of 9 through to adults.

We are a home-based school situated in Cockle Bay, Howick.
It has been running since 2007.
I have been an artist all my life since I was old enough to hold a crayon in my hand. Art for me is the way I express myself, it has always helped me work through my challenges in life.
If you would like to find out more about the school take a look at our website - www.vizart.co.nz... Also we have an Instagram page with the student's great artwork showing @meganzsva
All fun and hard work ahead
Look forward to meeting you.
Cheers
Megan Murphy

Some Choice News!

Kia pai from Sharing the Good Stuff

Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.

Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.

Thinking about planting something to invite more butterflies, bees, and birds into your garden?

Thanks for your mahi, Alan! We hope this brings a smile!
