Social distancing

Marie from Bucklands Beach

Please people... please keep your distance when out walking. The majority are very considerate but a few people think social distancing doesn't apply to them. I am not out walking as much now because it's not as enjoyable and I'm finding that it's me having to move up the bank or into the road so we can pass safely. I may have white/grey hair but that does not make me invisible. Please can I suggest we all walk on the left hand side .. in the same direction as cars...where possible.. we will then all walk in the same direction.. and cyclists and runners on the road as much as possible. I really do not want to go back to level 4. Thank you

Poll: Are Kiwis allergic to “exuberance”? 🥝

The Team from Neighbourly.co.nz

In The Post’s opinion piece on the developments set to open across Aotearoa in 2026, John Coop suggests that, as a nation, we’re “allergic to exuberance.”

We want to know: Are we really allergic to showing our excitement?

Is it time to lean into a more optimistic view of the place we call home? As big projects take shape and new opportunities emerge, perhaps it’s worth asking whether a little more confidence (and enthusiasm!) could do us some good.
