Free Vocal Scholarships
8 Vocal Scholarships are on offer from the Pitt St Methodist Church in Central Auckland for successful applicants. You must join the choir to receive a scholarship. Rehearsals are Tues evenings 6.15-8pm and services are Sunday mornings 10.30-11.30am with a warm-up from 9.45am. Applicants are required to audition but it's informal and nothing to worry about. Successful applicants will receive a 30min vocal lesson each week. Open to all ages 6+. Free Furoshiki workshop 13yr+
Join us at Highland Park Library Saturday 4 May to make Furoshiki - a traditional Japanese wrapping cloth that is used to carry and transport items. It can be folded and tied in different ways to create a reusable and eco-friendly alternative to disposable bags. Furoshiki can be used to wrap gifts, groceries, and other items, and its versatility makes it a popular choice for those looking to reduce waste and be more environmentally conscious.
