accommodation in Wellington

Stephen from Half Moon Bay

I am 22, male, a young professional & almost completed my master's degree. I am quiet, tidy, kind & helpful. In my younger days, I was a school prefect. I enjoy playing the guitar/violin & photography. My start date for employment is 16 Feb 2026 in central Wellington & preferable to start renting then or 1-2 weeks earlier. Public transport is important to central Wellington for my job. The place would be ideally furnished & walking distance to the supermarket as I will have no car. Character references can be provided. I am fine with flatting, boarding, living alone (preference) eg bed-sit. A bit early, but I thought of investigating now

Poll: Are Kiwis allergic to “exuberance”? 🥝

The Team from Neighbourly.co.nz

In The Post’s opinion piece on the developments set to open across Aotearoa in 2026, John Coop suggests that, as a nation, we’re “allergic to exuberance.”

We want to know: Are we really allergic to showing our excitement?

Is it time to lean into a more optimistic view of the place we call home? As big projects take shape and new opportunities emerge, perhaps it’s worth asking whether a little more confidence (and enthusiasm!) could do us some good.
