For Our Beloved Olivia Policarpio Sanchez: Funeral Cost Fundraiser

Jean from Pakuranga Heights

Galatians 6:2 Carry each other’s burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ.

Dear friends, family, past and present colleagues,

In behalf of the bereaved family of the late Olivia Sanchez, I would like to ask for your assistance in this time of a great financial need in the same manner that the Word of God in Galatians 6:2 encourages us to carry each other's burdens for by this we honor the Lord Jesus Christ.

Your giving is most appreciated because it will have made it possible to bring the Word of God even in the pulpit of the funeral home for everyone to hear the good news of our blessed hope. Jesus said, "I am the resurrection and the life. The one who believes in me will live, even though they die; and whoever lives by believing in me will never die." (John 11:25) And in John 5: 24, "Very truly I tell you, whoever hears my word and believes him who sent me has eternal life and will not be judged but has crossed over from death to life." In honor of a life well-lived, we would like to share this opportunity to share with you the privilege of serving in the Lord's vineyard thru your giving now.

No, we may never be sent out to go into the mission field outside of New Zealand but thru your generous and faith-filled donation now, you may have very well opened up a mission field in the hearts of those who will attend the last memorial service tomorrow morning before her burial by 12noon.

Thank you for making it possible for sis Olivia Sanchez to fulfill her earthly vessel's purpose in the Lord: to let the people know that "God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, but whosoever believes in Him will not perish but have everlasting life." (John 3:16) Let the Lord God return and reward this generosity you have shown to His servant's bereaved loved ones. In all of these, may the name of the Lord Jesus Christ be magnified.

Poll: Are Kiwis allergic to “exuberance”? 🥝

The Team from Neighbourly.co.nz

In The Post’s opinion piece on the developments set to open across Aotearoa in 2026, John Coop suggests that, as a nation, we’re “allergic to exuberance.”

We want to know: Are we really allergic to showing our excitement?

Is it time to lean into a more optimistic view of the place we call home? As big projects take shape and new opportunities emerge, perhaps it’s worth asking whether a little more confidence (and enthusiasm!) could do us some good.
