My Kind Neighbour nomination

Michelle from Titahi Bay

Marie Wright lives in Titahi Bay at 5 Toms Rd, and works tirelessly for her community as a devoted member of the Horticultural Society and the Presbytarian Church. She is passionate about her Bay, Titahi Bay. All the gardens around the surf club and along the bay are maintained beautifully by Marie. She often uses her own money to make sure they are looking their best at all times. She is also passionate about raising awareness for the marine environment in the Bay, and will spend hours talking to the Council and the community to protect Titahi Bay. She is so deserving of this wonderful award.
