Should the council pay for schools to recycle?
Porirua City Council says too many schools and preschools cannot afford recycling stations so it is proposing to either subsidise them at a cost of $50,000 a year or fully fund them for $100,000 a year.
Sure it's good to teach kids about recycling, but should it be up to the council to fund this?

Stamps wanted
I run a Stamp club at Tawa School to encourage children to collect stamps and learn about countries, history and more. Unfortunately new stamps aren't often seen these days as it's all electronic! If you have any stamps or old collections sitting around, let me know and I'll come and get them.
