Sunday Lunch: Christmas edition!
Enjoy a free lunch cooked by volunteers with food provided by Kaibosh. We've got the barbeque going and it'll be a festive day for all! Come along and help out - get in touch if you would like to volunteer or just show up early. We are also doing a gardening bee from 10am so please come along for that too. All welcome.
Lunch served approx 1pm, please arrive around 12.30 (or earlier to help with cooking or gardening!)

Volunteers will be scouring the foreshore, riverbanks, and islands for rubbish on Saturday the 13th as part of the Clean Up the Hutt event.
This initiative helps stop plastic from reaching our oceans and makes our waterways cleaner and safer for everyone.
We want to know: Should this be rolled out across all coastal cities in Aotearoa? And more importantly… would you get involved? 💚

Some Choice News!
Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.
Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.

FREE 10-liter emergency water bottles
Merry Christmas -
I have around twenty, empty 10-liter distilled water bottles to serve as emergency water storage. I saved them for my friends, but they already have their own water supplies. Take as many as you like. Please respond to this notice if you are interested.
