Shall we put in a greenhouse at the centre? An opportunity has come up to put in a greenhouse at the centre (2.3x3m). For this to go ahead, we need to know that you support. Super duper important is if we have some people that can be long term kaitaiki (guardians) so we know our little seedlings and their whare are cared for. Could this be you? Help building it will also be needed. There is also the opportunity to use this space to raise your own seedlings as will be some extra room. He aha ō whakaaro? What are your thoughts? Poll: Would you participate in local initiatives aimed at stopping plastic from reaching our oceans?
Volunteers will be scouring the foreshore, riverbanks, and islands for rubbish on Saturday the 13th as part of the Clean Up the Hutt event.
This initiative helps stop plastic from reaching our oceans and makes our waterways cleaner and safer for everyone.
