Winter Indoor Bowls - Expressions of Interest

Ana Frka from Seatoun Village Hall

Hello everyone,
I am just reaching out to see if anyone would be interested in playing Indoor Bowls during winter at the Seatoun Village Hall beginning in April. We can have a daytime and/or an evening session. I can access the gear but have no idea how the game works. So I just wondered if there were any takers? Happy to chat to try and make it a reality.
Feel free to call or msg me on 021 955 331 or email seatounvillagehall@gmail.com

Push to get every Kiwi scanning, every time

Nicholas Boyack Reporter from Community News

Come on Neighourly folk remember to scan, every time you go out.
As new highly transmissible Covid-19 strains send countries into second and third lockdowns, Stuff is forging ahead with its “Stop! Scanner time” campaign to remind Kiwis of the importance to keep scanning QR codes, should there be a community outbreak.
Everyone – every single one of us – needs to be scanning the NZ Covid Tracer app, or signing in on a sheet of paper, every single time.
Come on Neighourly folk remember to scan, every time you go out.

Babysitter needed

Carolina from Miramar

Good morning, I have a 4 and a half month old baby girl and as I am starting to work soon I am in need of someone to look after her in the mornings, earliest start is 6am and latest finish will be 1pm Please note that not every day is required as I don’t work mornings every day, and it will only be in the weekdays no weekends. If you are a babysitter or if you can recommend someone please let me know and we can discuss more details.

Thank you.

Covid Variant - Northland

Caryl from Seatoun

I'm surprised that masks haven't be made compulsory in the areas that the woman travelled to? Surely she will have infected others who in turn will do the same as it is more infectious. Is anyone else thinking this too? It was only a matter of time before the variants spread into the community.
