If you live locally (1km radius) and would like to have a table to hock off some of your 2nd hand gears, give us an email at info@newtowncommunity.org.nz - we have some space available and are happy to share!

We also need helpers on the morning to set up, people that want to donate baking - and other jobs! Please email if you are keen!

There are garage sales happening all over Newtown on 16th of March - to see the map and plan your day, check out : www.google.com...

All bling raised by the Community Centre goes towards our upgrade/renovation project (for things like fancy new couches to match our fancy new walls!) You can learn more about this project here :

Some Choice News!

Kia pai from Sharing the Good Stuff

Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.

Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.

Thinking about planting something to invite more butterflies, bees, and birds into your garden?

Thanks for your mahi, Alan! We hope this brings a smile!
