Hi neighbours - Porirua City's new bilingual signs have cost nearly $30,000 in consultant and designer's fees.

Featuring Te Reo Māori and English, the signs cost $27,360 to design, which included work by cultural advisors and bilingual experts.

Wendy Walker, Porirua City Council Chief Executive, says that "by bringing Māori language into our everyday lives, we help those less familiar with it gain confidence, as well as recognising those who already speak Te Reo."

By the time I was upstairs in the light the driver was well gone! and Ubereats support is utterly SHITE.

CREATIVE CAREER PATHWAYS

5.30pm - 7.30pm

Where can a degree in art, design, music and creative media production take you? Come and find out from a selection of our graduates, who will talk about their experience as students and their diverse careers. Come and be inspired, informed and reassured, and take the next step towards your own creative future.

Refreshments will be served from 5.30pm, with presentations starting at 6pm. Student work will also be on display in Level C Gallery.

Parking is free on campus after 5pm and spaces can be found inside Entrance C off Wallace St, or inside Entrance E off Tasman St. Both allow access to level C, Te Ara Hihiko. Bus #3 will bring you to Entrance C on Wallace St from either town or airport directions.
