Today's the first day back at work for many in New Zealand. It's also the first week back for Newtown Toastmasters!
Join us this Wednesday, 9 January, from 7.30 - 9.30pm at the Newtown Community and Cultural Centre and start work towards some of your goals for 2019. Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.
Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.
