Community Harakeke Weaving - free workshop
Join the Inverlochy community in Te Aro on the third Saturday of every month for harakeke weaving lessons . These sessions are suitable for beginners and those with some experience.
In these sessions we will harvest the flax on site from the Inverlochy garden and learn some basic weaving techniques.
Some materials are provided but people should bring a sturdy craft knife and towel.
Bookings for each session are essential.
