HOMESTAY NEEDED FOR A GERMAN BOY for 4½ months
Would you like the opportunity to make a difference to the experience of an international student? Can you provide an inclusive and supportive home for an international student?
Wellington High School has a 17 year old German boy needing a homestay. He has been in Wellington for 8 months and will return to Germany in July this year.
This student is active and engaged in Wellington life but he is looking for a family that he can spend time with and share activity and conversation. Is this you?
Our homestay fee is $320.00 p/w.

Poll: Would you participate in local initiatives aimed at stopping plastic from reaching our oceans?
Volunteers will be scouring the foreshore, riverbanks, and islands for rubbish on Saturday the 13th as part of the Clean Up the Hutt event.
This initiative helps stop plastic from reaching our oceans and makes our waterways cleaner and safer for everyone.
We want to know: Should this be rolled out across all coastal cities in Aotearoa? And more importantly… would you get involved? 💚

Some Choice News!
Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.
Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.
Thinking about planting something to invite more butterflies, bees, and birds into your garden?
Thanks for your mahi, Alan! We hope this brings a smile!
FREE 10-liter emergency water bottles
Merry Christmas -
I have around twenty, empty 10-liter distilled water bottles to serve as emergency water storage. I saved them for my friends, but they already have their own water supplies. Take as many as you like. Please respond to this notice if you are interested.
Best wishes - Michael
