- see link below.
The new person will work closely with the current Community Activator, coordinating projects, events and initiatives. It’s will be a role full of fun, creativity, variety and amazing people. It is a flexible 20 hours a week on a year fixed-term contract. We need someone who is passionate about community, sensitive, organized and understands community led development (this can be through lived experience). We particularly want people to know that in recruiting for this role, we value people's diverse lived experiences and backgrounds. This might be understanding what it's like to need support in some way or experience of being from a minority group etc. We welcome applicants who may not be 'formally' trained/experienced in this field of work.

Poll: Would you participate in local initiatives aimed at stopping plastic from reaching our oceans?
Volunteers will be scouring the foreshore, riverbanks, and islands for rubbish on Saturday the 13th as part of the Clean Up the Hutt event.
This initiative helps stop plastic from reaching our oceans and makes our waterways cleaner and safer for everyone.
We want to know: Should this be rolled out across all coastal cities in Aotearoa? And more importantly… would you get involved? 💚
