Coronavirus

Alexis Neighbourly Lead from Mount Cook

Hi all, I hope you are OK. I was thinking today that although lock down is extremely stressful for everyone, it is all to easy to see all the negatives of this situation.
For me personally being at home has had some positive elements, one being I can read that book I have wanted to read, I can write the short story I have been putting off, and I can do some self reflection. Lets all appreciate being alive!
So to you all, It is hard but we will come out of this. Nothing is for ever!!

Stay Safe!!

Some Choice News!

Kia pai from Sharing the Good Stuff

Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.

Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.

Thinking about planting something to invite more butterflies, bees, and birds into your garden?

Thanks for your mahi, Alan! We hope this brings a smile!
