Sharing of items between households at this time of lockdown

Pamela from Berhampore

Kia ora everyone
I just heard an interview on Radio NZ with Dr Siouxsie Wiles just after 11am today Tues 24 March. The recommendation was not to share any items between individual household groups of people at this time of being in isolation in order to help contain spread of the Covid 19 virus.

Offering to sharing items or give away things between neighbours might seem a generous thing to do but is really not advisable at this time.

I stress however that I am not an expert. Please listen to the interview online for yourself. Stay safe.

Some Choice News!

Kia pai from Sharing the Good Stuff

Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.

Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.

Thinking about planting something to invite more butterflies, bees, and birds into your garden?

Thanks for your mahi, Alan! We hope this brings a smile!
