The Wellington Region Business Expo 2019 is the region’s largest business event, now in its ninth year, it will be held at the Lower Hutt Events Centre on May 7, from 7.30am to 6.00pm, with a special after-event for sponsors, exhibitors and visitors until 7.30pm.

The Business Expo is the showcase business event for the Greater Wellington region and is a “must attend” for anyone who owns, operates or works in business in or around Wellington.

Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.

Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.
