Lawn Bowls - Have A Go Open Days - Johnsonville Bowling Club
Come and give lawn bowls a try. A game for all ages and abilities. Play socially or competitively. We have 2 Open Days coming up in a weeks time - Saturday 19th and Sunday 20th September, both from 2.00 pm to 4.00 pm. Just bring some flat soled shoes. All other equipment supplied. Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.
Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.
