Drone flight - Leak detection
To help us identify leaks we are flying a drone to capture thermal images of the pipes network in Upper Hutt. This will happen 👇
📆 Thursday 17 December
⏰ Commencing at approximately 8pm with a likely finish time of 1:00am Friday morning
🌫 Weather permitting
The thermal images taken are very low-resolution so people and cars, will be non-identifiable.
Once we find the leaks, we can get to fixing them.

Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.
Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.
