Wood carving help

Could anyone help me out with a project I am doing.
I need either to get in contact with someone local that does Maori carving. Or borrow a set of wood carving chisels as the set I got from Miter 10 cant hold a edge and I dont have enough time too get a better set. Any and all help much appreciated.
