LAWN ROAD AND MILL ROAD REHABILITATION WORKS - UPDATE
Due to the existing road pavement being weaker than expected, more work has been required to reconstruct the two sections of road. This has taken some time to get right but is nearing completion so that the final layer of pavement can be placed and the roads sealed.
Pending no further interruptions due to wet weather, the project is expected to be completed by mid-July 2024.
The project team regularly monitors the site, with contractors on standby to grade and compact the road to keep it safe for vehicle access. We ask all road users to adhere to the site signage and follow the directions of the traffic controllers. Heavy machinery is still operational during the day and single lane closures allow construction works to progress.

I'm a fruit. If you take away my first letter, I'm a crime. If you take away my first two letters, I'm an animal. If you take away my first and last letter, I'm a form of music. What am I?
