The Richmond Road Reserve carpark at East Clive will be closed from 27 May – mid-June
The Richmond Road Reserve carpark at East Clive will be closed from 27 May – mid-June while repair works are underway to strengthen the East Clive Groyne on the edge of Richmond Road Reserve. These are rock protection upgrade works that aim to improve the resilience of Hastings District Council’s wastewater outfall infrastructure.
There’s alternative pedestrian access as shown in the image below and on-site. Take care, making sure you are giving people and horses warning before you pass.
Access to the Hawke's Bay Trails trail remains open.
