Opening exhibition and sale
This Saturday you are all invited to my inaugural exhibition and sale at the Village Club, 4 Campbell St, Havelock North, from 4pm.
Though I won’t have as much to offer as I was hoping, doing it on my own, you’ll be able to see what I’m doing, taking old things and making them new again; taking unwanted, damaged items, destined for landfill, and giving them a new lease of life, and hopefully a new home. And, hopefully, supporting myself and my son, in the process.
What I have, and what I’m doing, is thanks to the kindness and generosity of my lovely Neighbourlyhood. Come and see what you’ve made possible.

Poll: Are Kiwis allergic to “exuberance”? 🥝
In The Post’s opinion piece on the developments set to open across Aotearoa in 2026, John Coop suggests that, as a nation, we’re “allergic to exuberance.”
We want to know: Are we really allergic to showing our excitement?
Is it time to lean into a more optimistic view of the place we call home? As big projects take shape and new opportunities emerge, perhaps it’s worth asking whether a little more confidence (and enthusiasm!) could do us some good.
