Cat With No Uterus
Hi all, well we took our cat to be spayed today and were told that when they opened her up they could not see a uterus. Maybe she had already been spayed, as she was a stray. No microchip. Has anyone had this happen to them? They wanted to put her under anesthetic again tomorrow and open her up midline section and look again. It was keyhole surgery today. They were also going to scan and if could not find the uterus, go looking again. Two anesthetics and two surgery's? I opted to bring her home and hope that it means she has already been spayed, as the stress has already been quite traumatic for her and us! Has anyone else had this happen to them?

Poll: Are Kiwis allergic to “exuberance”? 🥝
In The Post’s opinion piece on the developments set to open across Aotearoa in 2026, John Coop suggests that, as a nation, we’re “allergic to exuberance.”
We want to know: Are we really allergic to showing our excitement?
Is it time to lean into a more optimistic view of the place we call home? As big projects take shape and new opportunities emerge, perhaps it’s worth asking whether a little more confidence (and enthusiasm!) could do us some good.
