We need people over 65 to shoot in a range of transportation settings. These include walking, driving, busing, on trains, taxis etc. and in different urban and rural settings. We would like to have a diverse mix of people, their friends and families. The images will be used for promotional materials and a consent form will need to be signed. We are unable to pay participants but can offer a koha grocery/petrol voucher. The shoot will take place in July 2018. The charger enables fast recharges for electric vehicles, increasing accessibility and turn-over at the site.
While there are now over 100 DC fast chargers across NZ, having two DC charging units at one location is a first in the wider Wellington region. In fact this is a first for any location south of Waiouru!
It operates on a user-pays system and will charge a Nissan Leaf, the most popular EV currently available in NZ, to 80% within approximately 20 minutes.
So if you have an electric vehicle and it’s looking for a bit of a charge, pop in, grab a coffee and check out what’s on at the Dowse.
