KeriTLC: Healthy Laughter

Dietlind from Kerikeri District

We all heard it before... Laughing is the best medicine!... And really, it isn't just a saying, there is scientific support for this claim. Laughter strengthens the immune system, boosts the mood, can lower blood pressure, and has the ability to diminish pain as well as the negative effects of everyday stress. This makes laughing a perfect topic for our group – the KeriTLC. We meet once a month to discuss how we can include healthier options into our personal lifestyles. The next get-together is on 17 November @ 6pm and this time an experienced Laughter Yoga Coach will join us. It will be fun!
The meetings are free of charge and everyone is welcome. For more info or to secure a place please email keritlc.info@gmail.com or contact us via facebook/keritlc .
