What does 2021 hold in store for you? How about volunteering with Victim Support? We’re recruiting new volunteers in your neighbourhood.

Volunteer Support Workers come from all walks of life, just like those who need our help. They make an incredible difference by providing support and information for people affected by crime and trauma. Volunteers receive comprehensive training and support from our locally based staff.

Come and meet some of our Northland team to find out what it’s all about!

Our next Volunteering Open Day is coming up on Tuesday 3 August.

Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern and Health Minister Andrew Little were on hand to help www.stuff.co.nz... bless the site of the Bay of Islands Hospital| stage 2 redevelopment on Monday.
The project involves a new 1500 square metre building, housing outpatients, primary health services run by Ngāti Hine Health Trust, renal services, oncology and haematology.
But costs for the project have doubled since 2018, mostly due to existing buildings not being fit-for-purpose.
Ardern said the redevelopment was essential to deliver services closer to where people live, including to help address inequities in Māori health. What do you think?

Check out what Head of Memberships at Diversity Works NZ, Ola Ioane has to say about his experience with Kiwi Can!

"I have a deeply personal connection to Graeme Dingle Foundation as I was blessed to be a child in your youth development programmes many years ago. For this, I extend a massive fa’afetai lava (thank you!). Will always be super grateful for the learning and development from your programme. I was part of Kiwi Can through Koru School. My Kiwi Can Leader was an awesome human named Ina (I think that’s his name). Funny – I don’t remember much about primary school but I definitely remember our Kiwi Can sessions."
