Cedar Battens
We have around 150 cedar battens, left over from our build, for sale. They are 50(w) x 25(d) x 2100+. They are band sawn with 2 weather grooves in the back. The cedar was grown and milled locally. We’re looking for $20 per batten. Pick up from Havelock North.
The first photo shows some untreated, the same as the ones for sale. The other pictures show them oiled and stained.

The Environmental Protection Authority announced this week that a proposed mine in Central Otago (near Cromwell) is about to enter its fast-track assessment process. A final decision could come within six months, and if it’s approved, construction might start as early as mid-2026.
