Cyclone clean up about half way
The clearing of fallen trees and branches from Council's parks after Cyclone Cook still has two to three weeks to go. In some parks and reserves the damage has been so great that it is taking a team of nine four days to clean up. Our people plus contractors are working extended hours to get things back to normal and we ask for your patience as we battle through it. Who Wants to do some Dance Fitness by the Beach?
It's that time of year again and I am looking to get an idea how many people would like to work off all the holiday wine and other goodies with some fun cardio dance classes at Waimarama Hall! If you are interested, please comment with the best days and times and I will see what we can work out! We have done them on Wednesdays from 6-7pm in the past. $10 per class donation.
