Phone scam

Julie Neighbourly Lead from Havelock North

I got my first phone scam call today. An automated voice machine, calling from Australia 0061 428 305 972, rang with a bogus “we’re calling from VISA regarding some unusual activity on your account…” in an American accent. I hung up.

If you ever get one do the same. DO NOT FOLLOW ANY INSTRUCTIONS GIVEN BY THE CALLER. Then block the number.
