RECYCLING BINS AND STRONG WINDS
My street is covered with plastic bottles, paper, even glass due to the high winds. Some containers are empty and sailing around. I guess we need to organize and locate the containers in a way that can be somehow wind-proof. It might be only the area i am living on. Check it out anyway. You bins might be empty already! THANKS!!!

We want to know: Are we really allergic to showing our excitement?
Is it time to lean into a more optimistic view of the place we call home? As big projects take shape and new opportunities emerge, perhaps it’s worth asking whether a little more confidence (and enthusiasm!) could do us some good.

New neighbour
Okay folks, if you feed your animals outside, you might want to rethink that. We have new nocturnal neighbours, inside Havelock North.
There is a very well fed brush tail possum up the pōhutukawa tree in my garden.
I don’t know where it’s come in from, but it’s in the middle of a residential neighbourhood, so keep an eye on your pet doors, open windows and doors and pet food.
I’ll be notifying council and DOC tomorrow.
