Singing Lessons /Vocal Coach

Michelle from Linton

Hi everyone, we are looking for people interested in learning to sing or improve their performance. My partner Erick is offering singing lessons for beginners or anyone wanting to gain more confidence. Erick has 30 years of experience in the entertainment business, as a vocalist and performer. He has a certificate in vocal recording and would love to share his knowledge to help others. You will also have the opportunity to record a song of your choice for your friends and family. We are taking expressions of interest for anyone who is interested in one on one singing lessons. You will also have the option of learning how to use a mixing desk, microphone technique and the use of PA sound equipment if you choose. He can also teach basic guitar. Please feel free to contact us if you would like more info or to register your interest.
Don't be shy, we would love to help you build your confidence, even if it is just for fun! 😊Message us or phone Erick 027 2240 170

Poll: Are Kiwis allergic to “exuberance”? 🥝

The Team from Neighbourly.co.nz

In The Post’s opinion piece on the developments set to open across Aotearoa in 2026, John Coop suggests that, as a nation, we’re “allergic to exuberance.”

We want to know: Are we really allergic to showing our excitement?

Is it time to lean into a more optimistic view of the place we call home? As big projects take shape and new opportunities emerge, perhaps it’s worth asking whether a little more confidence (and enthusiasm!) could do us some good.

Some Choice News!

Kia pai from Sharing the Good Stuff

Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.

Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.

Thinking about planting something to invite more butterflies, bees, and birds into your garden?

Thanks for your mahi, Alan! We hope this brings a smile!
