Vercrete Concreting Company - highly recommend this company

Cynthia from Foxton

I am delighted with the job Vercrete did concreting my carport. I had been putting up walking on sharp stones for 4 years to hang out my washing. Now I can walk out with bare feet. They had to dig out a lot of sand, do additional boxing and retaining. They came up with alternative ways of doing things eg. I have a steep long driveway with two tight corners, so instead of using a long tube to carry the cement, they used a smaller truck that could get up the driveway. This saved me money and also I did not have to remove any of my mature trees. Also, I would never have thought of this, but to ensure I would not slip over on a smooth surface the Vercrete boys, did a very slight stipple effect and yes it is very safe. The job was not an easy one as the original concrete bases on the 6 pillars were going to be too high and they had to reduce the height by jack hammering, which ended up being about 4 very heavy wheelbarrows of concrete rubble that they took away for me. This was my first ever job like this and I would totally recommend Vercrete staff of Michaela, Ash, Kevin, David, Dan and Ben. Any other elderly females wanting to use this firm should be confident you will be looked after professionally and even kindly. Thank you Vercrete and I wish you many years of successful business and will absolutely use you again.

Some Choice News!

Kia pai from Sharing the Good Stuff

Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.

Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.

Thinking about planting something to invite more butterflies, bees, and birds into your garden?

Thanks for your mahi, Alan! We hope this brings a smile!
