Passed away peacefully at Greymouth with her family by her side, on October 15, 2022, in her 87th year. Dearly loved wife of the late Ian, much loved mother and mother-in-law of Ian and Sue, Mark and Jill, Stephen and Tara, and the late Geoffrey, and Jeremy, adored grandma of Amanda and Mark, Lyndal and Jimmy, Matthew and Karito, Holly and Brandon, Eric and Fiona, Shaun and Angela, and Tessa and Jayden, loved great-grandma of Zoe, Emma, Ruby, Annemieka, Milliegh, Darius, Hugo, and Octavian, loved sister and sister-in-law of Lynette (deceased) and Malcolm Sadler, loved sister-in-law of Valerie and the late Joe Meijer, and the late Frederick and Elma, Kura and Ken Oliver, and Graeme and Trish, a loved aunty, cousin, and a friend of many. WILSON, Bruce Roland
Died peacefully on his own terms on October 14, 2022, at his home surrounded by his family. Much loved husband of Linda and adored dad to Sam and Fergus. Loved brother of Barbs and Carole and brother-in-law to John. Born 25.12.52; taken much too soon, with so many adventures still to be had. Sincere thanks to the staff of the Haematology Department at Auckland Hospital for giving us so much more time with him than we would otherwise have had. Also, thank you to Auckland Hospice for their support to allow the family to manage Bruce’s death at home.
Rest in peace BW, an inspirational man and a life lived to the full. Will be so sadly missed by many.
A celebration of Bruce’s life will be held on Thursday, October 20, at 10.00am, at All Saints Chapel, Purewa, 100 St John’s Rd, Meadowbank.
