Peacefully at home, on October 15, 2022, aged 91 years. Loved husband of the late Pauline, much loved father and father-in-law of Helen, the late Graham, Sue and Alan, Jennifer and Ben, and Aileen, loved and treasured grandad and great-grandad. Dad passed away on October 6, 2022, in his 92nd year, after a short illness peacefully at Gore Hospital with family by his side. Son of Stanley (Stan) (dec) and Thelma (dec) Silcock of Nelson, and brother of Thora Cullen. Loved husband of Maureen Dawn Silcock (dec) and Marilia Mueller-Silcock (dec). Much loved dad and father-in-law of Lorraine and Robert (Australia), Gary and Raylene (Balclutha), Neville (dec), Shayne and Craig (Mayfield), Milton and Jude (Australia). Loved stepdad of Ian Skillen (dec) and Faye Skillen-Barlow (Tapanui), Margaret and Murray Kitto (dec) (Mataura), Thelma and Owen Frost (Christchurch). Much loved and treasured Grandad of all his grandchildren and their families. Great mate to his many friends. Dads’ wish was for his body to be donated to the Donor Programme at the Department of Anatomy. A memorial service for Dad will be held at a later date.
