March is Red Cross Appeal month. During March, we raise funds to enable us to deliver services to the most vulnerable people in our communities. Services such as delivering Meals on Wheels, helping to settle new Kiwi's in Aotearoa New Zealand and training our Disaster Response volunteers to support with rescue and recovery during a disaster.
This year we are doing our appeal a bit differently and we need your help! Unfortunately, due to COVID-19 Traffic Light Red we can’t go ahead with our physical street collection so instead, we are partnering with Chooza to bring you our List, Sell, Give Hope! campaign 👉 www.chooza.com...

Some Choice News!
Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.
Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.

Flowers for free ????
Very disappointed that our front garden had a 14 bud Christmas Regal Lilly cut and taken with several others last night, but what it lead others to do was worse damage. They ripped out other flowers and some may not recover. Do not come back tonight, as we are cutting all of them today.
