I adore the Catnap cafe. Staff and cats give such a lovely environment. Bring such joy to adults and children alike. Even elders. A great business that holds fast to their values and reminds customers that we are in the cat territories and to respect their boundaries. Always brainstorming new ideas. Movies nights with popcorn while cats wrestle each other in the background. Downward cat yoga pose just don't squash the cat on your mat. Cute collectables and supporting other small businesses with their markets. Cats who didn't get the best start to life get a second chance. Eating over Christmas and New Year’s Resolutions to diet are in the past
If you had asked me when I was active in addiction what the meaning of Christmas was, I would have told you, the substantial amount of food available, the getting dressed up, the drinking and partying in the pubs and the nightclubs and receiving lots and lots and lots of gifts.
Eating at Christmas time was always different from the rest of the year. For most of the year I would be secretly eating but for that short week in December, I had free reign. It was that one time when everyone seemed to want to eat the way I did every single day. It was acceptable to eat chocolate for breakfast, lunch, dinner, supper and beyond.
