However students can still use firearms as part of shooting clubs and competitions. Click here to read the full article and guidelines.

So what do you think of the new rules? Are you for or against them?

Please check your furbabies, I was travelling down Champion Street almost at Bealey Ave at about 11:50pm 26/07/18 and a poor cat ran out in front of my car and unfortunately was hit (I was travelling at less than the speed limit)

I stopped immediately, got out of my vehicle and spent some time trying to look for him/her up and down the street, it was very dark and I feel absolutely horrible that I couldnt find him/her.

I honestly dont know if the poor puss is ok.

Please, if you live on Champion Street or in the surrounding area, check your furbabies to make sure they are ok.

If this was your cat and you are reading this, I am so so so sorry and feel a tremendous amount of guilt as I have 2 cats that live with me and couldnt bear to loose either in such a way.
