Deceased cat

James from Hoon Hay

There’s a deceased cat on the grass berm outside 88 Sparks Road this morning, looks to be the victim of traffic. Small to medium size, tabby and white mid length coat. Looks like it’s just sleeping peacefully, but the tail has been degloved, so be prepared for that. 😕

I have a variety of toys that I can leave with your cats so they won't even notice you've gone. I pop in and feed, medicate, clean up after and of course play and cuddle them. I can also bring in mail and bins and water plants etc.

The public had its first glimpse of Christchurch City Council's proposed plans for the pools and recreation complex during a community event at Linwood Park on Saturday.

The plans show a lane pool with deep area for bombing and playing on inflatables, a learn-to-swim pool, a toddler pool and a family spa. There would also be meeting rooms and a kitchen for community use.
