Are you going to a Summertimes event this year? Great news! Christchurch is trailing compostable packaging for the food and drink available at selected Summertimes events – because no one likes landfill.

If it's brown - it will break down.
Look for the ECO symbol and put it in the green bin.
All other packaging goes into the red bin.

The ECO symbol means "Event Compostable Only" – make sure you bin it at the event, and not at home.

We will help you in your journey of letting go and handing over some of the controls as your young person learns to fly solo.

17 Bryndwr - Huntsbury; Hereford St detour changes again Friday 3 February

Buses travelling from Bryndwr towards the city will now detour off Rolleston Ave onto Cashel St and Durham St South back onto Tuam St to continue the normal route into the Bus Interchange. Buses travelling from Bryndwr towards the city will now detour off Rolleston Ave onto Cashel St and Durham St South back onto Tuam St to continue the normal route into the Bus Interchange. Bus stops 53136 and 52915 (outside the CCC building) on Hereford St will be closed during this time and a temporary stop will be available on Cashel St just east of NZ Post instead. Buses travelling towards Bryndwr are not affected. View detour map below.
