Three of Christchurch's leading mayoral hopefuls will face-off in a public debate in the city centre.

Lianne Dalziel, John Minto and Darryll Park will lock horns at a forum hosted by the Canterbury Chamber of Commerce at The Piano.

Dalziel, Minto and Park were invited to take part after polling indicated they are leading the 13-strong field of mayoral contenders.

The forum is supported by The Press and the MC will be broadcast journalist Sacha McNeil.

The September 4 forum runs from 5pm to 7.30pm.

It is open to the public and free but registration is essential. Email registration@cecc.org.nz or by phone at 03 366 5096.

The products for the glad programme can be any brand (incl regular takeaway containers). They must be clean.

The oral programme will accept any brands also.

We need to send our first Glad shipment off in a couple of weeks. Please bring in anything that qualifys.
